Sweet Garden Prim’s ~ Love the month of May in my zone!  I start to prepare my garden beds, pots and just a general good clean-up – it’s been very rainy and windy and just plain ol’ cold so a bit behind but that s okay as long as summer is on the way!  I am sharing a few of the garden items in my store, currently available.  Thanks for reading today’s blog, I hope to blog some more soon ~ Mother’s Day is around the corner, blessings to all you Mom’s out there J  Have a truly wonderful day ~  Bobbie

~ Easter Blessings ~

Something about the Easter Season that brings such a sense of peace, it could be that I spend a bit more time praying about all the blessings in my life, Good and Bad.  We all know things happen for reasons we don't know, but it is the strength from above that get us through them.  Bittersweet with my boys, for they really don't think the bunny hops to our home anymore, but the baskets usually have some goodies waiting for them.  The older boy, Zach, did not color eggs with me, x-box & his friends now has taken over that spot ... glad my younger one, Adam,  still enjoys coloring egggs, (sigh).  This morning it was nice that Zach accpmpanied me to church to have the food blessed, it has been a long tradition of mine to do this and I hope it will be passed along when the time comes.  Both my boys participated in Holy Thursday mass, and my husband and I were Eucharistic Ministers, I love when the whole family is apart of the mass.  Good Friday Zach was asked to serve the mass, I am very proud of him.  But as he is getting older, he feels this will be his last year for Alter Serving ... (sigh). 
Today is also Adam's first game ... finally the weather is cooperating ...let's go Yankee's!  Very windy but at least 60 degrees ... storms, cool and cloudy conditions all week...so a little wind I guess will be fine.  My Murphy update for this time around is he was very excited to have his first sleep over, we took in our friends Lab for the night ... they were very happy to be with each other....needless to say I would never want two dogs at a time :)  Love them and very entertaining, but alot of work.  
I bought my first pot of pansies, put them on the front step, and yep Murph went for them, he is a goat, not a dog...I will not be having many flowers this season for he will eat them all - he such a boy!
Tomorrow I will be having my family here for Easter, little Quinn will be here for his first Easter, can't wait.  Good to have a new baby in the family.
The pictures I am sharing today are a few of the rearrangements I already did because I wasn't happy of course with how I set up the first time...lol.., a pic of Adam dying eggs, & of his pancake creation he made on his own, I think its a snowman ..LOL. and included a picuture of Murphy and Rory ... I think murph has his tongue out!  You can tell who the puppy still is :)

Happy Wednesday

One of those days of you feeling you are accomplishing something but really are not...I dislike these days.  I managed to take some pictures around my house, and glad I did for I have some re-arranging to do.  I do this every-time.  I am getting ready for spring, love the bunnies!  Here are a few pictures of some of my gatherings .. All My Boys

Hello All ~ I had to post a quick picture of all my special boys in my life ... The oldest is Sean my nephew that will be 17 in may (very hard to believe!), My two boys Zach (holding Quinn) and Adam ... and the new member, my great nephew, Quinn ~ a month old now ... he is beautiful ... My niece was able to make it over to spend some time with her Auntie Bobbie and cousins.  Nothing like a new baby in the family :0)  We will see him for Easter, which can't come quick enough, but maybe some shopping once the weather breaks.  I hope everyone had a lovely weekend - we sure did.  The weather was much warmer and just felt good to be outside!  Til I blog again may you be blessed. ~~ Bobbie

March is Ending...??

Wow ... Has it been that long since I blogged?  What happened to March?  Busy Busy I guess!  Well on a personal note it has been busy in my house, a new baby in the family is bringing some joy - My niece made a visit this week with little Quinn, and brought her brother too!  It just does not seem that long ago that I was the one picking them up (my niece and nephew) and having MY babies along!  It was a very nice visit, just wish the weather was warmer to be outside. 
The boys are on Spring break, so we just have been doing some things around the home, & they of course have been keeping busy with friends. Today was nice, just the three of us went to lunch & some shopping.  FUN in my book, for them not so much. 
The Murph update, hmmm.... he is a handful this week for some reason.  Did a bit of destroying when I thought we were done with this puppy stuff.  I no longer can dress my goose outside, for he tears off the clothes, even managed to drag the CEMENT goose of the step and put a nice crack in the neck.  I no longer have an eye in one of my bird statues, and my sweet stuffed bunny is no more ... he unstuffed her and ate the leg and arm for dessert.  Yes my Murphy reminds me he is still a puppy and do not turn my back on him :)  Puppy classes though have been going well, go figure??
The youngest is starting his baseball season, hopefully more practices as the weather is starting to get a little better ... right Mother Nature?  He is getting so much stronger, and has his eye on the mound for the season.  The other son is starting his caddy training - let's hope that goes well, he is looking forward to a job and making some money this summer. 
We are half-way through Lent and our promises of what we gave up - for me chocolate, donuts/cookies and such, well I cheated this past Sunday which they say its okay on a Sunday but I don't remember that rule growing up - It's not so easy when you NEED that piece of chocolate!  But what got me was the nutcups at our parish mission!  It was Sunday-Tuesday night, so Sunday was the only fall I had.  The parish mission was very uplifing, a very nice renewal for us & really made us think about the important things in our lives...letting go and giving more spiritually. 
My attention has also been going to a site that I learned about from Rock River Stitches Blog post, The Decorah Eagles ... so cool.  Momma eagle is about to hatch her babies ... this is a live cam on a Eagles nest,  there are three eggs - very interesting. Check it out when you have a chance to - just google Decorah Eagles and it is sure to come up. 
Everything else is just fine otherwise.  Looking forward, as all I am sure to some warmer weather.
For the store news, few new things, Spring is here, thinking about some Garden accents - the Daisy Stakes are in and just such a nice trio, & the Carrot Stakes are just so spring!  Don't forget the Carrot Patch Runner, Egg Tree, Mini Eggs & a sweet set of Carrots for a spring lift. The everyday Wax Warmer, non-electric, is really a nice addition as well - All wax warmers are coming with a free tart too!  When you have the time come on over to the store, you are always welcome :)  Any questions that you may have I am always here to help ... http://www.countrystoreatyourdoor.com/

March is Here!

Okay ... I can't believe it has been this long since my last blog post :( I am sorry! As for most February is a long month, eventhough it has only 28 days in it! Anyway looking forward to some springtime weather but I think we are still going to be waiting a few more weeks. For my personally, I have a new great nephew, Quinn, and he is a keeper! I have gotten to hold him once already and looking forward to the next time :) Yes, I am 40 and can't believe I have a baby from my niece! LOL. Anyway my children, hubby and pup are all doing A-OK. Basketball season is over, time for baseball (Yea!) my 11 year old is in pitching camp til "spring" practice can officially begin (please be a early spring!) ...both kids are doing well in school, Zach is a little more than half-way to graduation (8th grade) WOW to me! :) ... Murphy the pup, now 9 mo and a pistol will be starting school himself to work on some areas of need :) ... too smart, but he is a lab, has discovered if he is attached to the stake in the front yard, he should just dig it up to "run" free, I am glad we caught him in time from the huge hole he was about to dig in the front! He is starting to slowly "prune" my shrubs in the front seeing he took care of most of them in the back during the course of the winter. Please let my beautiful hydrangea come back to life :) ... anyway things are okay with my family... I do hope that all is well with you!


Now for the store news, I have not gotten out a new newsletter, I hope to in the next week. New spring is in the store, and limited quanties of spring pips are left. Remember if your looking for something in particular give me a email and I will do my best to find it for you. My only pic is of the lovely pot of geraniums, this is the mood I am in :) Ready for some fresh colors.!
